Stine Wexelsen Goksøyr (b.1985), lives and works in Oslo, Norway. She is educated at the Art Academy in Malmö and works mainly with film.
More or less planned sound recordings forms the basis for the film A Story. The film highlights the sight of a human life and how life is summed up by ourselves but also by others. Throughout the film it examines how we remember and build myths/stories, and how we convey memories and impressions of people and surroundings through language. Family roots creates a sense of belonging. We create and recreate myths and stories to make our surroundings comprehensible. The stories are helping us to build our understanding of reality. How close to reality is a story?
