Solkrå (Sun corner)

Endre Tveitan (b.1979) is a Norwegian artist based in Oslo. He graduated from Oslo national academy of the arts last year and works mainly in the field of video installation.
The work is a 2-channel video installation. The videos are made as short loops and will be presented as projections in a half-darkened space. One video will be projected on a parabolic disc (65 cm radius) and placed on the end wall of the room, the other will be projected on a frosted plastic film (1,5 meter broad), mounted from floor to ceiling, partly blocking the entrance to the space.
The projects starting point has very much been inspired by the late poetry of Norwegian writer Tarjei Vesaas (1897-1970), and in particular the poem I stole my title from: Solkrå (Sun corner).
