... It is because we act and transform that we should relate and reflect. We were born caretakers. We must focus our attention on that hole where there is nothing but us. We shall reflect and contemplate until there is nothing but sound and light, because from darkness a new light is born and from silence a new sound. Tiago Bom (born in 1986 in Lisbon, Portugal) works and studies in Oslo. Received his Honours Degree of Fine Arts at the Faculty of Fine Arts at the University of Lisbon and the Estonian Academy of the Arts. Tiago has also studied Culinary Arts at the Copenhagen Hospitality College and is currently attending the master programme at the Oslo Academy of Fine Art. He has recently co-curated Open Forum and the Central Asian Pavilion at the 55th Venice Biennale.
